Announcement About Award Ticket Redemptions
Warm reminders: Before redeeming your miles, you may learn about the main redemption rules at PhoenixMiles’ official website (PhoenixMiles Programs - Mileage Redemption - Redemption Standards and Rules). For information about redemptions during high and low seasons that deserves special attention, please read the following supplementary content.
1. Redemptions are only available on direct flights that are operated by Shenzhen Airlines and have a ZH designator code, and are not available on codeshare flights.
Members may choose travel type that is applicable during high and low seasons in light of their redemption needs.
a. There are two types of travel options: one-way and round-trip.
b. The flight direction and departure date is used to determine whether peak or off-peak fares apply to one-way tickets and class upgrades.
c. For round-trip tickets, if the departure dates of the inbound and outbound segments fall within the same season, the same fare shall apply to both segments; otherwise, the higher of the two fares shall apply.
3. Peak/off seasons are divided based on the travel date. All the periods of Peak/Off Seasons without routes, fare classes and flight dates are shoulder seasons.
4. The flight information published in the peak and Off-Peak calendar for redemptions is for reference only. Flights or times may change due to seasonal adjustments. If the published fare differs from the actual fare shown at redemption, the latter shall apply. Unless otherwise specified, the existing peak and off-peak dates for a region shall apply to new international routes.
5. Voluntary changes to award tickets are permitted, subject to the following conditions:
a. Peak season segments can be changed to shoulder season or off-peak dates; shoulder season segments can be changed to shoulder season or off-peak dates. It is not necessary to deduct or refund mileage for the above changes.
b. Off-peak segments can only be changed to off-peak dates. If there are no remaining off-peak dates in the current calendar, or the travel date of the segment to be changed is not within the current calendar, the segment may be changed to a shoulder season date (within the ticket period).
6. Key booking information (including the passenger name, itinerary, award type and fare) cannot be altered once a booking has been confirmed; mileage has been deducted; or tickets have been issued.
7. In the event of a service disruption, passengers travelling on an award ticket or who have used an award upgrade will receive the same treatment as paid ticket holders.
8. To find out the transportation rates on specific routes during high and low seasons, please visit PhoenixMiles’ official website (PhoenixMiles Programs - PhoenixMiles Calculator - Mileage Redemption Calculator).
9.The flight time for peak/off season ticket redemption is from April 1,2026 to October 31,2026.
